ABOUT ANDRIJANA

Was born in Belgrade, Serbia. During the wars in 90’ she moves to Czech Republic where she studied costume and stage design on Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, culminating in a Master’s degree scenography. Since graduating in 2014, she assisted in Schauspielhaus Zürich (Parizek/Polivkova, Mundruczo/Agh),Theater Neumarkt, and Volkstheater Wien. After that worked on many Theatre and Film projects as costume and Stage designer. With Director Lucie Ferenzová  they started their own women theatre group Kolonie zs, that deals with actual political, social and cultural issues. 

Together they made One night stand/up! - performance, one woman show and authentic story about Yugoslav wars, which Andrijana also wrote. The feature film Špina/Filthy (2017), where Andrijana contributes as an art director and production designer (directed by Tereza Nvotova, Slovakia), had a Premiere on IFF Rotterdam and won 22 prices on festivals all around the world, lately Best film award - Czech film critiques 2017. With the director are they in the middle of pre-production of a new film about witchcraft and once again female power Nightsiren/Svetlonoc (2020).
